Biography: Dr. Mais Bassam Alashqar completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Alfaisal University, graduating with First Honors, and being awarded the Dean’s List Award for 5 consecutive years. She has trained locally and internationally in research and is particularly noted for her work and training under Dr. Norman Goldstein in Manhattan, New York. She also has a rich resume of participation in projects at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, one of the largest tertiary medical cities in the Middle East, and at Alfaisal University. Additionally, she is a Basic Life Support instructor at both of these institutes.
